How you do one thing, is how you do everything
I first heard this quote listening to an audiobook while brushing my teeth not that long ago. I quickly took a dry erase marker and wrote it across the top of my bathroom mirror.
It has become my mantra.
I like to consider myself “A Do-er”. I get sh!t done. I take great pride in marking things off my checklist. Snappin’ necks and cashin’ checks all damn day.
However, everyone has something, call it your ass-kicking kryptonite, that you just cut the corners on.
When I start to feel my motivation drop-off and my to-do list grows, I like to think of this quote and remind myself that you are only as strong as your weakest link.
This year I will turn 30. Which to nearly every woman is an exciting and terrifying thing. Am I where I thought I would be at 30? In some areas, yes. In others, hell no.
I want to make this year the best yet and to create the best version of myself.
There are a lot of things to work on this year.
I know it’s March… but I need to rehash my #newyearsresolutions. I need to re-up my self improvement game.
Let’s see how well I’ve done ((Here is a shot of my instagram post with this year’s resolutions))
So far from this list… I have started a more consistent workout/running regimen, completely failed several attempts at a #whole30, remodeled a bathroom, started and am LOVING my new job, started keeping a better eye on our budget, and the hubs and I have started a self-guided scripture based marriage quality time.
As I push refresh on my resolutions, I’ll remember to keep this in the back of my mind
How you do one thing, is how you do everything.
